At the beginning of Kris’s career she worked in the finance and administration sector, firstly in one of the big banks and then Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, but after her children were born decided to gain a degree in Behavioural Studies from the University of East Anglia, which led to her working as a family support worker. She then devoted the next few years to being the administrator for the family business. Kris started with the Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service 13 years ago to cover maternity leave and never left, becoming Suffolk Archaeology's Business Officer and now Senior Office Administrator in the Cotswold Archaeology Suffolk office. She now provides financial administration and analysis, and assists the Business Manager in ensuring the day to day functions of the office are undertaken efficiently.
Her greatest and only archaeological find was a piece of Ipswich ware, found whilst digging up weeds in her Grandad’s garden…. in Ipswich!!
