Suffolk Archaeology's 1st birthday and launch of our Report Library

This week Suffolk Archaeology celebrated its first birthday since leaving Suffolk County Council and to mark the occasion we're delighted to announce the launch of our grey literature report library, with over 400 of our past reports now available for download in one location for the very first time …

Our Birthday Cake!

A look back over the past year (thanks to Rebecca Smart for the cake!) shows that we've firmly established ourselves as the leading independent archaeological contractor in Suffolk and have maintained our provision of high quality heritage services to our customers throughout the county and beyond. In recent months we having been looking to expand both our team of site staff and our expertise in areas such as geophysical survey as we look forward to an ever increasing program of fieldwork.

Notable events have included the completion of our bespoke processing and storage facilities at our archaeological store in Needham Market and the completion of a substantial excavation of an Anglo-Saxon settlement at Kentford, Suffolk.

A Suffolk Archaeology report coverOur grey literature report library is now available online. With an archive of over 3000 digital reports stretching back to the early 1990's we hope to add hundreds more in the coming months.
