An archaeological recording was carried out during the re-development of the farmhouse at Trust Farm, Dennington. Trust Farm lies within an area of archaeological interest and is record in the Historic Environment Record as being the site of a medieval moated enclosure (DNN 008).
Work was being carried out within the property by the owner. During the reduction of the floor level in the earliest part of the dwelling large quantities of medieval pottery were recovered. A site visit was arranged for Suffolk County Council Archaeological Service (SCCAS) Field Team, in order to record the location of these finds and for an archaeological finds report to be produced.
